Laura Sevcik joined MnTAP in 2021 after completing her MS in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Minnesota. Laura’s projects at MnTAP have included working to reduce trichloroethylene (TCE) use by helping facilities switch to safer alternatives, exploring water conservation and energy efficiency opportunities, and researching ways to reduce industrial chloride use. She is interested in reducing environmental impacts from manufacturing processes through practical means.
When Laura’s not working, she enjoys hiking in all seasons and baking.
