Printing Content From Web

How to Print Content

Print Entire Webpage

This is the quickest way to print content from the web site.  It will include all information on the page as well as the Header (navigation links) and Footer (contact information).

For Chrome, Firefox, & Explorer

  1. Click on the “Menu” ( , , OR ) in the upper right corner
    • Other options to open the “Print Menu”
      • Right click in the page OR
      • Press “Ctrl” and “P” at the same time (Ctrl + P)
  2. Click “Print”
  3. The Print Preview window opens.  Adjust any necessary settings
  4. Click “Print” or “OK”

Print Content or Selection

This will be used when a selection of content is desired OR for printing without header/footer content.  The print process will only print content that is selected.  It will print in a form similar to a text document such as PDF or Word.    This will work work for Chrome, Firefox & Explorer.

NOTE: This can be combined with the “Save Webpage as PDF”.  Follows steps 1-3 in the “Print Content or Selection” then follow steps 3-4 under “Save Webpage as PDF”

For Chrome:

  1. Select desired content to be printed (highlight the text)
  2. Right click and select “print”
  3. The Print Menu opens
  4. Adjust any necessary settings
  5. Click “print” or “ok”

For Firefox & Explorer:

  1. Select desired content to be printed (highlight the text)
  2. Press “Ctrl” and “P” at the same time (Ctrl + P)
  3. The Print Menu opens
  4. Under “Print Range” choose “Selection
  5. Adjust any other necessary settings
  6. Click “print” or “ok”

Save Webpage as PDF

This can be used to save the webpage as a PDF document for future printing, sharing, or archiving.  It will remove any advertisements.  This process will also allow for changes to be made.

NOTE: This can be combined with the “Print Content or Selection” for Chrome and Firefox.  Follows steps 1-4 in the “Print Content or Selection” then follow steps 3-4 under “Save Webpage as PDF”

For Chrome:

  1. Press “Ctrl” and “P” at the same time (Ctrl + P)
  2. The Print Menu opens
  3. Under “destination” select “Save as PDF”
  4. Click “print”

For Firefox:

  1. Press “Ctrl” and “P” at the same time (Ctrl + P)
  2. The Print Menu opens
  3. Under “name” select “Adobe PDF”
  4. Click “OK”
