Alaina is a dedicated Web & Database Administrator, a position she has proudly held since 2014. With a strong focus on leveraging technology to enhance organizational efficiency, Alaina’s role encompasses a variety of critical responsibilities that include the management of Salesforce (i.e., updates, training, maintenance, and report development); the design and coordination of email templates and delivery; and the design and development of MnTAP’s website. Her creative talents shine when she collaborates with MnTAP project teams to produce custom graphics and images that enrich reports, promotional materials, and outreach initiatives.

There are many reasons why Alaina is passionate and takes pride in applying her technology and education skills to delivering the message of sustainability. She is committed to effective and highly engaging communication along with enhancing the user experience on MnTAP’s website by creating visually appealing layouts and optimized page functionality. Alaina is always seeking new opportunities to learn and grow within her field.

Prior to joining MnTAP, Alaina developed leadership and mentorship skills by serving as a softball coach at Northland College and through her undergraduate work in sports and coaching. These continue to provide her with valuable insights to skills, such as teamwork and communication, that she now applies in her administrative role. Alaina’s education has also given her a strong foundation in graphic design, web design, visualization, and animation.

When Alaina is not working, she enjoys playing softball, spending time with friends and family, playing darts, and working on various art projects.  She is also a proud pet owner of her dog and cats who she loves spending time with.
