Many dry cleaners use alternative cleaning systems to meet customer needs and to protect the environment and their employees. Alternative dry cleaning systems have minimal health and safety impacts for employees, and do not generate hazardous waste. They include wet cleaning, Green Earth, and carbon dioxide cleaning.

MnTAP maintains a list of dry cleaners that use alternative cleaning systems. This list is published solely as a service to Minnesota companies and citizens.
