ReUSE MN Webinar: Policies to Promote Building Material Stewardship

Building material reuse generates significant environmental, social, and economic benefits. Yet, more than 70% of used building materials in Minnesota are thrown away and buried in landfills.

This webinar will discuss why this harmful practice remains dominant in spite of the harm and costs generated. More important, the presenters will highlight public policy reforms (adopted nationwide) that foster a change in practice and reduce the amount of used materials sent to landfills. These policy reforms reduce pollution and create new jobs.
