Wastes

If your industry is not specifically listed as a page on our Web site, you can find relevant waste and efficiency related resources under the media topics below, in the A to Z list or by using the search feature.

A to Z Waste Topics is a list of waste materials common to MnTAP clients. This list links you to fact sheets, reference lists and other reference information to help you find answers to your waste-related questions. It lists MnTAP publications on pollution prevention and links to Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) and U.S. EPA references for regulatory information.

Because MnTAP focuses on reducing waste at the source, we may not include wastes that do not have good prevention options. Check GreenGuardian.com for items not listed, to find information on recycling and proper disposal.

When searching for items keep in mind that more than one word may be used to describe that material. For example, you'll find information on "floor dry" listed under "absorbents." Resources may appear more than once on the list if they reference multiple materials.

Using the MnTAP search may help you to find more resources related to a topic. It also allows you to search on more than one key word at a time so you can narrow your search more quickly.
