Cause & Effect Diagram

Complete a cause and effect diagram for each waste or loss that you've chosen to tackle. The diagrams will help pin point the sources of waste, enabling you to identify the most appropriate solutions. In this example, a hypothetical manufacturing operation has completed a cause and effect diagram for the paint application process within its painting operation. The example was kept relatively simple, concentrating only on paint-related wastes and releases. Only enough sections have been completed to illustrate the procedure and end points.
