Regulatory Information

Businesses must comply with multiple environmental, health and safety regulations regarding energy use. Find information on air and hazardous waste regulations through the links below.

Boiler NESHAP. Boilers or process heaters located at a major source of HAPs are required to meet the NESHAP. Existing sources must comply by September 13, 2007.

Minnesota Public Utilities Commission (PUC). The PUC regulates three cornerstone service industries in Minnesota; electricity, natural gas and telephone. It is the Commission's responsibility to ensure that vendors of these services provide safe, adequate, and reliable service at fair, reasonable rates.
