Managing Organic Waste in Event Centers and Restaurants

Join the Minnesota Technical Assistance Program (MnTAP) for a workshop featuring case studies and resources for the beneficial reuse of food waste and source reduction. Reducing food waste and/or employing beneficial reuse options (food-to-humans, food-to-hogs, food-to-compost) can help your facility reduce waste sent to the landfill and improve your environmental impact. It can also help you save money on disposal costs.

Local experts will be on hand to provide information about starting an organic management program in your facility. Additionally, case studies will be presented from facilities that have recently implemented organics management.
Who Should Attend
Representatives from food-waste generating facilities such as event centers, restaurants, food processors, grocery stores, and other facilities are encouraged to attend. Additionally, representatives from Minnesota cities or economic development agencies are encouraged to attend. Register today!

The company offers a number of waste removal options including compost recycling and is serving the Eagan Community Center's compost recycling needs.
